FOUNDER - JONATHAN LYCETT
JAL Music was founded by award winning musician, Jonathan Arthur Lycett (JAL) who has over 20 years experience providing outstanding special event entertainment.
Rewinding back many years, Jonathan started his journey as a self taught musician at an early age, displaying his piano skills at many school assemblys from the age of 7.
Jonathan's passion for musical performances and talent has provided him with many extraordinary opportunities throughout his life and career. He has enjoyed performing as a soloist at many prestigious venues including Windsor Castle, St James' Palace and The Royal Albert Hall where he has been fortunate enough to entertain British and European Royalty on a number of occasions, both publicly and privately.
Jonathan has been been the musical director for many musical productions, including; Honk, Fame, Good Night Mr Tom, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Trolls, Oliver, Mr Spitfire, Ghost, Wizard of Oz, Our House, All Shook Up, Shrek, Christmas Carol, Carousel, Sound of Music, Singing in the Rain, Sister Act, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Evita, 9 to 5, Return to the Forbidden Planet, Hello Dolly and Kipps.
Jonathan is also a regular accompanist for choirs and youth groups as well as teaching piano and singing online and in person from Swansea, something which he has very much enjoyed over the years and continues to pursue alongside running JAL Music.

Throughout his career, Jonathan has worked with an abundance of talented musicians who now join him at JAL Music. Jonathan and his team are based in South Wales but happily travel all over the UK and even abroad to provide their professional event entertainment service.
The entertainment services on offer at JAL Music range from soloists, duos and trios to organists, swing bands, singing waiters and more. There really is something to suit every occasion!
JAL Music pride themselves on their flexible approach, working closely with each individual client to provide a bespoke service to suit their individual requirements which is particularly important for occasions such as weddings and funerals.
